Introduction

iRAS Standard Size Electrodes

More than 25 years experience in solid state sensor technology, more than 20 patents and a large number of scientific publications underline the competence of iRAS automation GmbH in the field of solid-state sensor technology.

Although the handling of solid-state sensors is much easier than any other determination methods in chemistry or biology there are several facts to keep in mind when using ion-selective electrodes.

The following pages shall give an overview about  some theoretical background and the most important things.

iRAS Electrodes

We develop and manufacture a large variety of electrodes (see list below) and sell them throughout the world. Each electrode can be customer specific in its shape and size. Thus, very small threaded electrodes are as well in our standard product programme as the usual electrodes (12mm diameter and 120mm immersion depth) are.
iRAS mini ISE
Electrodes can be stuffed with a lot of different connectors depending upon your application. Sealed cable with BNC, DIN or without connector, BNC or PG 13.5" threaded heads are already in our standard programme. Other connectors can be used upon customers request.

Ion Selective Electrodes

iRAS ion selective are particularly suitable for iRAS Portable Meters or iRAS Smart Sensors. However, they may be applied with any standard ionmeter or pH meter with a mV readout as well.

Please note that at least a standard electrode is required in order to determine with single electrodes.

Ion Selective Combination Electrodes

  • Calcium

Other combination electrodes are available upon customers request. Please ask for combination electrodes with integrated temperature sensor.

Multi Sensors are manufactured with various electrode combinations such as nitrate, chloride, ORP, conductivity and temperature or conductivity, ORP and temperature or nitrate, chloride, cupric, pH(antimony) temperature and standard electrode in a single shaft.
