Technical Data Sheet

Structure of the Electrode

range*:
  • 10-6 to 1 mole fluoride
  • 0.02 to 20,000 mg/L fluoride

The iRAS fluoride selective electrode is a solid state membrane electrode. The ion selective membrane consists of a LaF3 single crystal embedded in a plastic shaft by means of a special resin.
An Ag/AgCl standard electrode is immersed into an inner filling solution (0.1 mole KCl; 0.1 mole NaF). The inner filling electrolyte is used for discharging the equilibrium voltage.
